Splish Splash Board Game ~ Review & Giveaway (Ends 12/5)

My daughter is just starting to get into board games, but she is also just starting to read, so there are not many games that she can play right now. Her best friend (my BFF Casey's daughter) is a little older and is an exceptional reader, so when she comes over she is a super big help (she also ADORES board games and is passing her love on to BR). When I heard about the company Gamewright, I knew I wanted to do a review with them. They have tons of different games for all age ranges, and there are so many that require no reading.

I got to review the game Splish Splash. This game is absolutely adorable!!! In the game you can have 2 to 4 players. The game board is like a pond with colored "droplets" in the pond. Each player gets a  round player board with colored spaces around the edges. Then the player rolls the die. If the splash comes up, that is the free pick and you pick one "droplet" of any color out of the pond and match it to the colored spot on your player board. If you roll a number on the die, then you drop the die into the pond that many times and see if you can get any "droplets" to splash out of the pond. If they did, and you have that color space empty on your player board, then you can add them to your board. The first person to fill their board is the winner!!!

So simple right? My daughter loves it, and loves playing it with her BFF.

I would recommend this game to anyone who's child is learning how to play games. I think it is very good for children to learn to play games. It helps teach cooperation, sharing, and how to take turns (which is something my 4 year old needs to work on LOL!)

Would you like to win your own Splish Splash game???
